For each day, I'm thinking of adding an easier, a harder, and an expert mode.
The regular puzzles have 5 moves in ply. However, our lower rated players might need something easier, while higher rated players might find it interesting if they could have something even harder.
Easy mode --> 3 ply moves, Hard Mode --> 9-11 ply moves, Expert Mode --> 13+ ply moves
@ziksal2029 Interesting idea! Often, however, the difficulty of the problem lies in the complexity of the position and not the number of plies. For now, I just try to balance it by checking the success percentage every day. I will look into doing something like this after implementing some planned features, though. Thanks for the feedback!
You can now copy the permalink to each puzzle by clicking the share button in the bottom right corner. This means that even when the daily puzzle changes, the permalink goes to the same, archived puzzle.
Or, you could be able to see your friend's stats if they allow it. Similar to Lichess insights.

I would really like to see a distribution of when players solve the puzzle. Which percentage at the first try, second, third...

It's also really important that we can link our progress with our lichess account. It doesn't save the same progress on all devices (for example, when I do it on my iPad, it doesn't save to my computer).
Today next to last move was a blunder according to Stockfish (f3 instead of O-O).
There is a weird thing today. Two variants are possible:
Nce4 Nxe4 Nxe4
or
Nge4 Nxe4 Nxe4.
Obviously they lead to the same position. Yet, Stockfish says +3 after the first variant and +4.1 after the second one.
@polylogarithmique Yeah, but it's about "guessing" what was played in the actual game, Wordle-style :)
