How to Train Chess on Bad Days: Tips From a Grandmaster

really good blog post I have had a lot of bad days but with this now I know how to take care of this.
thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes you're just in a bad mood and don't want to do anything. There's no reason; it's not sleep or sickness, just a general poor feeling. On those days, I remind myself of a saying: "when you don't feel like doing something, that's when it counts double."

Building on James Clear's work, it does two things. One, obviously, you are doing your thing, but two, you are proving to yourself that you are the type of person that does the thing even when it's hard. When I follow this approach, it frequently builds momentum and helps me power through the next bad day. Also, anecdotally, it's amazing how often my "bad days" turn into amazing sessions when I just bear down and do it.

If you have legit health concerns, obviously that trumps this. Listen to your body. If it's just a case of "I don't feel like it," though, then power through it. After all, it counts double.
This is definitely a plan to use for everyday life. Thanks. Simple and fast to do.
But what does it actually say? Anything that a life coach wouldn't churn out?
