Why is my verification taking so long?

I'm assuming this is about a title verification which was submitted yesterday. It hasn't been processed yet, you will be contacted if there are issues that would need to be addressed.

But the page says it takes approximately 24 hours

An estimate is not a promise. "Approximately 24 hours" doesn't mean you should complain after 25 hours. It might mean you could inquire after a few days. Or a week.
