"lost to cheater" suggestion

i got refunded points from losing to a cheater, but i have no idea who it is. i play a lot of games, so hovering over players' names is time consuming.

what other ways can you find out? it would be nice to get a message "you lost to a cheater at xx time and xx date" or something, at least some other information to narrow it down.

i would like to analyze these games anyway.
i don't know. i won 2 games and lost the first 1, which is the same points i got refunded (-9).

he uses computer assistance, so it likely is him.

thanks. but still it would be nice if lichess tells you who it is or what game.
If you go to your games and click on an opponent's name, it will say in red if they use computer assistance
yes, but the point is who and which games. i play so many games that it's time consuming to click on everyone's name. why can't lichess just give out more information on who or when it happened when they inform me that i "lost to a cheater"?
It's wrong for lichess or any other site to expose exactly the cheater and their details. lichess has a duty of care to some extent to protect both victim and victimiser. Imagine if you were to seek this person out, would lichess be liable?! Just be grateful that lichess take such care in detecting behaviours that are less than fair. I genuinely feel sorry for cheaters, It's just the dumbest way to waste your time.... just why?
Seems a little too straight forward but perhaps you are right.

Makes a very good point that I hadn't thought of.
Obviously something like that happening is about a million to one; but it is still possible; and thats a liability lichess does not need.

Easiest way I've found to locate the game you are looking for is to search rating. Use Ctrl F and type the rating and find a game that matches; then see if the user is marked

IE you get hte msg from lichess talking about you lost to a cheater and it says you were refunded 21 rps. So search -21.
Only time this doesnt work is when you played this person multiple times and were refunded for more than 1 game; as in that case the number you are seeing is the total. But, usually it works; fastest method I've come up with.

Only reasons I do it is because I'm curious if its a 'regular' or if it was a random; as well as if I actually reported said game or not.
