Feedback on the new game chooser interface

Unfortunately I agree with a lot of this criticism. The new interface isn't very user friendly. But that's not to say that the old games list wasn't without possible improvement. Keep experimenting I think, however an actual list is probably a better direction to go in. It's much easier to read information in a list formation when compared to this tile setup.
im having trouble with my seek showing up. I dont think im banned again yet so thats probably not it, also need a warning for 960 games again
noforks, why no just filter out 960 is you don't want to play it?
#20: actually, one of the reasons it was changed was because items in the list moved all over the place and it was easy to misclick as one item would disappear, even with the fade.

Now, it's built so that it will never create a game in the same spot immediately after.

Also note that the list was limited to 8 games at a time, while this can display 16 at a time.

Anyway, the new lobby ('chooser') is here to stay unless Thibault changes his mind.

I also think that not knowing what colour is assigned is a deficiency.
Maybe if you made some mockups so that colour can be shown, your recommendations *might just* be implemented.
Thank you all for the feedback.

Keep in mind it's still experimental and a work in progress. Expect updates soon.
I'll throw you a mockup in a few minutes. However I get the impression Thibby might be developing something as we speak.

Just an idea, why not instead of randomly updating the tiles, update the tiles in a linear order (kind've like Snake)? This would make it easier for the eye to read the new games while still keeping with a nice aesthetic.
I also like the old game chooser better. I try to start a game, but it doesn't appear (even when I change the elo range into 800 - 2500), so I can't play chess.
wait, you cannot create a game? what does it do exactly when you try to?
