Less points should be deducted when losing by timeout

I really think less points should be deducted from players when losing from timeout than by being checkmated or by resignation. I mean, if you had a huge material advantage or a mate-in-2 and lost because of timeout, wouldn’t it be unfair for you?
And who is supposed to evaluate the position ?
So if I have a large material advantage and I am about to be checkmated, I should choose to sit and lose by timeout?
What OP didn't share was a game he almost won on time:

I think the answer is: play games with increment unless you enjoy strange time struggles.
So I sac half my army for a brilliant attack, you sit, and my game doesn't count as much?

My suggestion is to play better so the clock doesn't count as much.
