Lichess - now dust has settled

Hi

When I first saw Lichess V2 it took me around 20 mins to fiddle with the board size etc to get it to my liking. It still looked a little blurry in chrome but that problem seems to have been entirely fixed for me (think the font size was changed marginally and there is no blurriness for me now). And I can honestly say that right now, after a week of using it, I am now completely used to it. So I've got all the benefits of a good mobile experience, and I can't really tell any difference now with the desktop experience.

I know there is a very small proportion of users on old operating systems that can't use the latest browsers and they, sadly, will either need to install an updated operating system (including a free Linux based one that can run alongside their existing one), or go to an alternative site. The following question is not aimed at those users (plenty of other threads for that)

But for those who have the latest browsers, and have now spent a week or so with the new site, have you adjusted to the change? Or are you still finding it difficult?
I think it's great. I use a few browsers and devices and sometimes stuff doesn't work on one. For example, I've just powerwashed (reset) my chromebook and am using the latest chrome (with no plug in) and the resize thing on the bottom right of the board does nothing. But geometry works so I use that instead. I'm not very fussy about how everything looks as long as I can play chess, study etc - I'm not trying to get it to look exactly as it did before. It's that good I've uninstalled the Android app from my devices.
After a few hours disturbing, it just looks fine for me, both on laptop and mobile.
I'm liking v2 as much — or more — than v1. I use Firefox (64-bit, fully updated) on Windows 7. I see no rendering or latency/lag problems. Thanks to all the developers for your hard work!

I'm still getting force-resigned from 1-day-old unlimited casual games against the computer, but that happened to me in v1 too, so it's probably unrelated to the new UI.
It only works correctly in Chrome, not in latest Firefox (66.0.5) running on up to date Windows 10.

What doesn't work? Forward and backward buttons in analysis mode and puzzles.

I have commented this in other threads.
@Sheldonari, I don't see that issue with the same configuration (Firefox 64-bit on Windows 10 1803, both up-to-date). Could you possibly have an add-on that's interfering with Lichess? I have NoScript, uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and a few other add-ons, yet Lichess is working fine. You can check this by starting Firefox in "safe mode", which disables all add-ons and extensions (support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_start-firefox-in-safe-mode).

The only issue I see (which just appeared today) is that the green line on my clock doesn't get shorter as I use up time in a casual correspondence game against Stockfish.
I have performed the test. Restarted Firefox in safe mode, went to the puzzle page, tried the buttons.

Sadly, it was not working.
Just to add data to this:
Old Destkop with Windows 7 and latest Firefox: The buttons work.
New Laptop with Windows 10 and latest Firefox: the buttons don't work.

Firefox version and add-ons are synchronized and the same in both machines.

🤷
Is there an option to retain the old look and feel? v2 feels like a hospital smells, aseptic.
