Other person's timer runs out, yet it is marked as my loss!

I was playing a rapid game with another person, and on my screen their time ran out from 8 minutes to 0 minutes. Yet, it initially did not credit me with a win, and when I refreshed, it said that my time had run out instead, even though it was his time that ran out!

That is because of a problem from your network.

yeah hahaha

#1 This happens when you disconnect from the game and donnot auto-reconnect so always refresh when it happens . how ever, you can check your net status at lichess.org/lag
