Math or Science

Computer Science. Schools don't prioritize subjects on account of their relevance to the economy and intellectual environment of the 21st century, they prioritize the tradtional STEM subjects; calculus, biology, chemistry and physics becuase of last centuries traditions and inertia. I think the same weight should be given to CS and IT.
Math or Science what? I can't calculate the answer if it isn't scientifically proven!

Science looks to solve defined problems via the scientific method, where the conclusion reached is usually got from: guessing (a hypothesis), collecting data, and analyzing the data.

Math, on the other-hand is a tool of science, expressed in numbers and equations, approximating the function of the variables science used to collect the data. I believe its important to use math when analyzing the data points!

Chess can use math too (pieces have point values - for instance) to better approximate how to play a better chess game (which works to a point, until it doesn't work, unless there is a better way to calculate it?).

What is the scientific solution to chess? Anyone have insight (a hypothesis)? I've seen checkmate results play out, time and time again, but what truly is the pattern?

Garry Kasparov says in his book, 'Life immitates Chess' so, I think it'd be wise to understand the game, and how it works, as I relate those logical skills to life. :)

So, math or science? Ummm. I think, each has its place in the reality we live in.
Logic and Critical thinking. Would go a long way to addressing some of the problems in society today

I'm onboard with your statement. And, chess, I think, is a proxy for that. (expressed in art form).

"Chess is the Art that expresses the Science of Logic" -- Mikhail Botvinnik.

Common sense basically... unfortunately, an unsettling percent of the population is lacking it.
Math IS science dude, so i rather pick science cus it covers most math topic
