[BUG] -- cannot rejoin U1700 tournament after hitting 'break'

I joined a U1700 tournament with a rating of 1699 and won my first game.

After the game I hit "take a break" after opening the game analysis in a seperate tab. I looked at the game for a few minutes.

After that, back at the lobby, I cannot rejoin the tournament because of rating over 1700.

I jumped the 1700 mark in an earlier tournament but did not hit 'break' and got another game, which I lost and dropped back under 1700.

So thats why I labeled this a bug.

Cheers
Yea; this has happened to me before too.

Its rather annoying.

Only thing you can do is go intentionally lose a game..which is against the rules. So dont do that. Just mean; thats your only option; and its crap to have a rule breaker as your only option

Imho ratings shouldn't be tallied to your score until after a tournaments done. Or something like that, to keep that from being a issue. Or; once your in a tourny; your in. Or; just auto pause people who break the rating so its not just the people who get paused. Not just people taking breaks either; as you get paused if you miss your timer; or if you get a disconnect.
I don't think this is a bug. If you're over 1700, then you're too high rated to play in the tournament.
@dubiouschess

Yea; its not really a bug.

Its just that; if you join a 1700 tourny at lets say 1699 and then immediately go over 1700 you are still allowed to play through the entire tournament; as long as you never pause.

Once you hit pause; then it wont let you rejoin.

Same goes for any rated tourny.
Yeah I can see how it might be annoying, but I still think it should be this way. This is pretty much how it works in OTB tournament. Let's say you're rated 1599 and enter the U1600 section of a tournament, if you win your first game and bring your live rating over 1600 it's not like they're going to kick you out of the tournament. However, if you try to join an U1600 tournament when you're above 1600, obviously that shouldn't be allowed.
