Good to know Babur's chief advisor is still around to inform us of what his intentions were. My point never was about whether it should be a masjid or a mandir, my problem was with the divide this will create between Hindus and Muslims. You all keep acting like you used to go pray in the temple that used to be there. No human in existence was around to see it. The mosque on the other hands, there are so many who have been their.

> Exactly. Do not speak of things you have not bothered to research beyond two articles saying "Modi Bad, Hindu break masjid, so bad, so bad"
> The Supreme Court of India passed the decision.
> Here's a fun fact for you. The Chief Archaeologist who found the temple under the Masjid was a MUSLIM. He himself said the Mandir should be built there as it is as important to Hindus as Mecca to Muslims. A masjid can be built nearby as it simply another place of worship, not something of the stature of Kaaba.

> Muslim Board has been given a nearby plot of land 3-5x times in Area to build a Masjid.

> Additionally, Modi may use it for electoral gain, but that is irrelevant to the majority of devotees who are just overjoyed they lived to see this historic day. Plus, the government has not spent any money building this, it has been entirely paid for by donations of devotees.

You really don't know anything about Indian politics if you think a decision this big was not influenced by high ranking officials.

Cool, I'll break your legs and buy you a wheelchair.

My point was not to question the importance of the temple to Hindus. I personally differentiate between god and religion. I do not believe in religion as I think it is just another way to divide us. At the end of the day, we are just humans who were made by one supreme being who is far beyond our comprehension. All the names we use to describe that being are creations of humans, not god himself. I do not care what god you want to believe in, I respect all gods the same way. It makes no difference to me if a plot of land has a statue of Ram or a Mihrab as would be present in a mosque. If I enter it, my head will bow to my creator regardless of whether that particular place has called him Ram, Vishnu, Allah, Jesus, Waheguru, or whatever else.

My point was that regardless of your religion, I can guarantee it teaches you to treat others with respect. We know Babur did not respect Hindus. But guess what, he is widely regarded as one of the most cruel rulers in history due to him forcing Hindus (along with people of other religions) to convert to Islam. And a lot of people got mad at me for dragging Modi into this and told me to do research, let me tell you to do some research. Look up what Modi did during the 2002 riots. Your so called good guy promoted a genocide against Muslims. My issue with Modi is not the Mandir, it is his blatant discrimination against non-Hindus (sound similar to Babur discriminating against non-Muslims, sorry that comparison annoys people who don't like facts being brought to them).

As for the Mandir, the problem isn't that it is a decision against Muslims. It was a great chance to promote unity. Why can Allah and Ram not co-exist in the same place? Why do we have to mix God and politics. I live in America and would generally be the first to criticize it for it's shortcomings, but the one thing I appreciate is the "separation of church and state". Why can India not have that.

I do not hate Hindus. At no point in this have I said anything against Ram. Ram is great. But at the same time, I will also say Allah is great. If you want to hate my for my opinion, go ahead, it is your right to have an opinion and it is also your right to disagree with my opinion. But don't expect my to change my opinion to match yours.

Sorry, thanks for correcting me! Still, more than 150 million muslims reside in India.
This decision is taken by the Supreme Court not by Hindus and there has been a lot of research for many many years before taking this decision.

That's overall in the world, not just in India.

> Great job, breaking a masjid to build a mandir. And then people really try to defend that religion binds us together. Hinduism acknowledges other religions as equal. If ram was alive, he would feel shame on his followers. And no, I am not a Muslim.
