FM Zsolt Korpics

I am Zsolt Korpics from Budapest (Hungary), i am 45 my passion and profession is chess. I lead a chess team, organize tournaments (IO), work as a chess coach (FI), i am arbiter (IA).

My rating is 2300. i am a FIDE master, my best result was the tied first place at the Hungarian U20 Championship at the age of 16.
I took the bronze medal and a 4th place in the Hungarian Team Championship several times.

I have 25+years experience as a chess coach, my students won 50+ gold medals in the Hungarian Youth Championships. My team Kobanya SC Budapest won the Hungarian Youth Team Championship 5 times in the last 7 years.

My speciality is middlegame, i improve my students skills through game analysis (their own games and grandmaster games)
I like also to teach the psychological part of chess (opening choice, decision making, time management)

Because my speciality is game analysis i run my lessons on a very interactive way with my students, i want to learn their toughts, to be able to improve them. Every time i give a homework (mostly calculation and assessing of positions)
