About me

Hi,my name is Aleksandar Tomić,21 years old fide master from Montenegro.I'am rated 2359 and i have two IM norms. I was two times champion of Montenegro U21,also winner of many tournaments U2300,winner of many internacional tournaments. I want to share my knowledge with you.

Playing experience

I started to play chess with 10 years, relatively late for became a world strong player, but you never know. I played many tournaments, one of my best wins is against jugoslovenian legend Predrag Nikolić,this year on Bosnian premier league with black pieces.

Teaching experience

I am working as a chess coach for three years,i have no big experience but i think i have a big teoretichal knowledge...

Other experiences

I have never worked as a commentator, but I would like to to try one day for example for chess24.

Best skills

As i mention i put a lot of emphasis on theory, but also i work with students on improving their knowledge about endgames, midlegame, on improving their chess level, all dipends on strength of student.Watching games of old masters like Alekhine, Capa, Lasker, Rubinstein, Reti all the way to Petrosian, Keres,Botvinnik... can dramattically improve your level. They don't say for nothing 'old school'.

Teaching methodology

I am practicing to get acquainted in the first few lessons by analyzing the games of my students after that we can agree about work in order of player style.
