About me

I have a vast experience of 20 years being associated with this sport and would like to share my knowledge and experience to make a difference and train young talent and give them a platform to grow in Chess.

Playing experience

I have been playing chess since the age of five, and have been associated with this beautiful sport for a long time. I have travelled all across the world for my International Chess Tournaments and have played in the biggest open tournaments like Isle of Man, Gibraltar Chess Festival. Reykjavik open, Aerofloat Open, Prague Open, Biel chess Festival and many more.

Teaching experience

I have been training to do chess lessons for many years now and have successful students all across the globe. Student Achievements include:
-Students have won USCF Championships in various age categories
-Many students have increased their rating (FIDE and USCF) substantially within a few months of working with me
-My training methodology has made the students become really passionate about the game and take up chess as a full-time career.

If you're anywhere ranging anywhere between a beginner - 2400, message either on lichess.com or my email - fenilchess@gmail.com if interested!

Best skills

I am more of a technical and intuitive player and the same can be reflected in my coaching style. The communication between the student and me doesn’t stop when the lesson ends. I am available to answer the questions students may have outside of the lesson as well.

Teaching methodology

Initial lessons focus more on the analysis of the students’ games to identify their strengths and weaknesses. After this, we work on specific topics and plan for future lessons and a work plan which the student can follow outside of the Lesson is prepared.
