About me

Hello, I am Fide Master Zhemba Jemusse and I am also have an International Masters norm. I am an avid chess player and I also coach students at various levels . I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with students who are hoping to pursue their goals through chess.

Playing experience

I began playing this beautiful sport at the age of 15. Shortly after two years of chess I qualified for a slot in the Zimbabwean National team.
I have won gold medals in both national and international tournaments. I came third place in the Africa Junior Championships where I managed to draw and beat the top-rated players who have 2400 Fide ratings. In one of the international competitions that I competed in, I drew a grandmaster in ten moves and also beat two international masters in less than 15 moves. I was titled one of the best over archivers in the 43rd Olympiad in Chennai, India wherein I attained my Fide Master title and international master norms. In the said same event I achieved 7,5 out of ten games in 2022. I am a two times national champion.
Most top players have difficulty meeting my style of play because I'm comfortable playing any opening in chess .I enjoy playing end/games too.
