Teaching experience
I have enjoyed coaching for over 10 years now. I have experience working with players of all ages and strengths, with particular success in bringing aspiring beginners and intermediate players to expert levels and higher.
Other experiences
From 2012 to 2017, I was part of the Webster University chess team coached by GM Susan Polgar (former Women's World Champion).
Between 2007 and 2012, I had the great privilege of working with GM Vassily Ivanchuk, former World's No. 2, assisting him as a second in various tournaments.

Teaching methodology
As a Grandmaster with over 25 years of experience, I know how difficult it is to improve on your own and the role that a good coach or mentor can play in a person’s development. My style of coaching is personalized to each individual student.
