About me
Playing experience
I've been an international chess master since 1990 and played tournament chess until 2002. I was a member of the 1st Bundesliga team of the Hamburg Chess Club for more than 10 years. In 2003 I withdrew from tournament chess for family and professional reasons. I mainly got my playing practice from chess online platforms like PlayChess.com, ICC, Chess24 Chess.com and Lichess. My Fide-Elo is 2358. On online platforms Chess.com and Lichess my Elo varies between 2500 and 2650.
Teaching experience
I have many years of chess training experience and a "classic" chess education. I combine good opening preparation with a good understanding of middle game plans and solid endgame knowledge. I have been offering online chess training since 2020.
