Hey, I am Nick Maatman, an enthusiastic and joyful guy from the Netherlands. After graduating in 2020, I am figuring out what the next chapter will be. Time has freed up to pursue other avenues, which include giving chess training! Besides chess, I am into sports, other (board)games, enjoying music and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. The proceeds of my chess training helps me pay the bills and it funds my other projects, which include writing a book.

Teaching methodology
Personally, I am a big believer in the school of pattern recognition. Hence, my lessons emphasize on feeding you many useful chess patterns. As I have prepared a wide variety of material, the student has the option to choose his or her own prefered direction.
