The players GM Sebastian Bogner and GM Yannick Pelletier will play a match to determine who can take the Switzerland spot in the World Cup 2023.

There will be two games with classical time limit, 90 minutes for 40 moves and 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move.
If the match is tied, there will be two rapid games with 25 minutes and an increment of 10 seconds.
If the match is still tied, there will be two rapid games with 10 minutes and an increment of 5 seconds.
If the match is still tied, there will be two blitz games with 5 minutes and an increment of 3 seconds.
If the match is still tied, there will be two blitz games with 3 minutes and an increment of 2 seconds.
If the match is still tied, there will follow single blitz games until a player wins.
