The Airthings Masters Preliminary is a 16-player round-robin tournament held on February 19th to February 22nd, 2022. The Airthings Masters tournament is the first event of The Meltwater Champion Chess Tour that will be held online with a total prize fund of $1.6million USD.

The Champion's Chess Tour, will feature several Super GM's, including World Champion Magnus Carlsen, the tour has gained so much popularity in the last couple of years that currently there has been over 25 million hours of watch-time; making it the current most viewed Chess Tournament in History.
