The 2023 New Mexico State Champion will be chosen from a 5 round FIDE and USCF rated round robin tournament at G/90+30, held over 3 days during the first weekend in December. Invitations for this tournament were sent to the following qualifiers:

Corbin Gustafson (winner of New Mexico Class Championship - Expert/Master section)

Ben Coraretti (winner of New Mexico Open)

Valerie Barker (2nd place - New Mexico Open)

Harshin Jagirapu (2nd place - New Mexico Open)

Brad Langer (2nd place - New Mexico Open)

The winner of this event will be crowned the 2023 New Mexico State Champion!
