What A MEMORY! Giving up isn't hard but it isn't also the best.

Chess
Hey everyone I'm back here. You might have read this, but here's a more bigger and better summary of my chess story.

I was just 9 years old when I heard of the concept of "Chess". I was almost 10. Like 6 or 7 months after when I grasped the fundimental learnings of this fascinating sport or as many say a brain game. I grew up in a family where no-one in my family knew about chess. My sister(elder) had done chess when she was just 7 or 8 years old. But when I turned 10 my sister was 13 and had completely forgotten about chess. So the only people I had were my friends at chess class or my father who knew a little bit of chess. At school I went to classes into the courses of Sir Dayalsiriwardena and Sir Kushan.

Later I advanced to intermediate and this was where things got a little out of hand. When I just turned 10 after like 3 months. I lost it. I lost everything but after a few months time. I was again able to grasp the concepts and how fun it is. Now I am still 10 years old and after 2 more months I will turn 11. So you see, that all of these things I talked about wasn't many years ago.

I believe that if you just have the strength and determination, you can achieve anything. Example is Bobby Fischer, he was imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. But he still was known as the best at the time since he never gave up.

Thank you all for reading this. Have a Great Day.
