Lichess Puzzle Storm Analysis
This is a Data Analysis project I've wanted to do since Lichess launched the Puzzle Storm Feature. If you are a Lichess player and want to know how good/bad your score is this is your place!
You can now visit Lichess Puzzle Storm Score Calculator to check your expected highest score.
- A small portion of the Database was downloaded
- Only users who had more than 50 tries in puzzle storm and also had an well established rating in either Bullet/Blitz were considered
Results
Both Blitz and Bullet had a strong correlation of about 0.863
These results were a bit less conclusive but still fun to analyze, rapid has a correlation of 0.835 while puzzle rating's correlation goes down to 0.684
