Please read this before sending me game challenges

Not an advertisement, but bio doesn't have sufficient space for all conditions below

Most new accounts usually play fair, though there are some which don't. To prevent mass discrimination of new accounts and get them to an established rating, I accept challenges regardless of these, but under the following conditions:

1. I prefer random color challenges.

Reason: if you send me an exclusive white (or black) challenge, I have to calculate the relevant proportion of games with the color I'll play with. Should it move the proportion further away from 50%, I may not accept the challenge because I don't want to be forced to pick a color when I challenge other users.

2. No correspondence please.

Three reasons:

  1. Can't guarantee game completion compared to classical or faster
  2. Not permitted to analyze completed games when correspondence games are in progress
  3. They are not collector items where you start 200 games at once and do nothing leaving your opponents waiting endlessly.

You can send classical or faster time control challenge instead.

3. Don't send with intention to abort, boost or sandbag.

Or at least mention in game chat or inbox why you want to abort. (users in kid mode can't read this anyway so that is no excuse) No boosting/sandbagging, i.e. don't challenge me with the intention of artificially manipulating your rating. I don't want to get in trouble with the mod team.

4. No trolling/stalling games

I can wait 6 hours, don't even try. And the next time I'll simply refuse to play with you, including in tournaments. (There is a difference between intentionally stalling and accidentally stalling)
If you plan to send very long classical games, I'll definitely check your history of intentional stalling before taking a call.

5. You may feel free to invite me to a study to play on that board, but please don't expect correspondence game from me over there.

6. Team join requests sent to me will be processed with due diligence, thoroughly going through the publicly visible details. Decisions are usually made within 1 hour after I sign in. The main criteria is that you must not break the relevant rules.
