The Father and Castling!

The father became the Rook,
For his daughter, whom he loved and adored,
He aimed to castle to take on the battle of life,
Even if it planned to throw a knife.
This enabled his daughter's safety,
While he could be the rook to face any adversity.

He worked and had always cared for his daughter,
Spending every free minute with her,
She loved him back with all her heart,
Nothing could make them apart.

With time, the daughter found love,
The father could only smile,
Life had to take this course,
He was well aware of course.

At this time father aimed to castle,
But the King had moved,
Castling was not possible,
Yet life was sweet and bearable.
