How to do well in bullet chess

Chess
Have you ever slammed your keyboard in frustration of getting flagged? Well then this blog is for you.

1.Do not just blindly move quickly and blunder your pieces. Like in 1+0 and 1+1 you still have time to move and to attack with a good plan.
2.Practice more. I know in many things you have to practice but in chess moving fast and making good moves will slowly get better over time.
3.If you notice you are losing many games and off your game go take a break and you might go take a walk outside.
4.Weird openings. I am not saying to play the trashcan or somethings. Like an opening that you don't see that often played so your opponent will not no what to do. Also use the engine to study lines. But do not cheat with the engine. The engine is a very useful tool for studying an opening. So you know the best move in that opening that your opponent plays and get them in trouble. (By the way do not cheat even is you are not doing well in chess. You can just slowly learn and also if you cheat lichess will ban you).
5.Maybe practice blitz a slower time control and slowly get used to moving faster.

You might think "bullet is too fast and it will make me move too fast and blunder more in regular games." Well that is kind of true but before you just click off and ignore everything moving fast helps you handle being under time pressure. But don't play bullet for like everything you do. Bullet can be a fun thing that you do in a while. Also control how much you play bullet so it doesn't effect you normal play style. Also if you are someone who loves playing in tournament (which I do) there is sometimes a button called berserk and it splits your time in half and gets rid of any increment but if you win you get an extra point. This can be very helpful in tournaments because that one point might help you get the win. Of course these aren't the only things that help you in bullet chess but you can check out videos or other blogs that can help you learn more. Have fun!
