My Story with Ultrabullet

My first games

In my first games I always wasted 1 or 2 seconds per move,sometimes more,so I always lost to people that I berserk now with loosing less then a second in the whole game.

An example of one of my first and worst games:

I thought it would not be possible for me winning any Ultrabullet games and don‘t played Ultrabullet for some time .

My first tournaments

When I started playing Ultrabullet again I mostly played tournaments.I became better really fast and sometimes became Top 10 with my Team without other players of the teams that made points too.Really fast I had a 1000 rating again because in tournaments,there are mostly high rated players and if I lose to them I lose no rating points or not many of them but if I win,I win 10 or 11 rating points.

Now

Later,I really got better in Ultrabullet and winning wasn’t just luck.I won against really high rated players without just having luck and that made me really proud.
I‘m leader of a really nice Ultrabullet Team with many good players now and Ultrabullet is one of the time controls i like most and i‘m best at.

My advice for low rated players

First,try to play fast.Even if you think 2 seconds per move and then do a good move it‘s hard to win a game in 8 moves when your opponent don’t play that bad.
I don‘t want to say that if you have a 1100 Rapid rating you‘ll get 1700 Ultrabullet rating,but you‘ll get better if you get practice.Also,Ultrabullet is a time control but in my opinion it‘s something like a variant too,because there are some different strategies.This strategies get explained really good in this blogs:https://lichess.org/@/groshks/blog/how-to-get-better-at-ultrabullet/Vv9FWcGv and https://lichess.org/@/groshks/blog/ultrabullet-tips/pfpiTzmg.
