BLOGS 101

Blogs, a relatively new way to write by the time this comes out. These articles can be about all sorts of things, such as chess, stories, newspapers, or literally anything you want to write about. You can Bold, Italic words, and even cross out words. You can insert tables, links, pictures, and so much more. This really is a great way to share the story you want to share. People can even heart the blog, and you can also see how many views there are. Also, if you aren't followed to the person who made the blog, at the bottom of the blog, there is the option to follow the maker of the blog. Pretty cool right? Well, let's get into how to make one.

!!WARNING!! !!PEOPLE WHO USE MOBILE OR IPAD PLEASE READ THIS SECTION!!

Sometimes, you don't have your computer, and you still want to play chess, and you go into the app of lichess.org. DON'T. Don't use the app, go to safari or chrome, and search up lichess.org there. If a "If you want to open this in lichess.org" pops up, then say "No thanks" Then, it will pop up on safari/chrome. It is a MUCH better experience than the mobile app, and much easier to navigate too. Thank you for reading this section, and let's get back to the main section : )

Back to Main Topic
Now, if you use mobile/ipad and you haven't read the section above, I suggest you do it. It will make the steps for computer, mobile, and ipad, mostly similar. If you are computer, use your mouse and hover over the community section, many words will appear. One of them will be "Blog," above the Donate section when this blog about blogs comes out. When you click that, many blogs with many different titles, topics, and pictures will come up. On the left side of those blogs though, you will see "Community Blog," "Blog topics," "Friends Blogs," "Liked blog posts," "My blog," and "Lichess Blog." When you first click into it, you will see nothing in your blog section, but on the top right, a + will appear, with the word, "Drafts" on the left side of it. Then, click on the + and a "New post" will appear. Once you finish posting in the blog, you will then have to solve a lichess CAPTCHA, and once you do, you'll finish the blog. You then Edit your blog if you want, the button will be blue under your name, number of hearts, and number of views. After you click edit, then you can add a picture you want that you saved to your computer. Then you upload the file, and that's how the front page of your blog will look. By the way, if people can't see your blog, then that means your blog is a draft. Your going to have to turn on the "Publish on your Blog" so everybody can see it. It will be beside the language button, which, as the name suggests, will change your language to whatever you want. I hope you found this blog useful. If you liked this blog, please heart, and other than that, have a Great Day!!!!!!!

Mobile Blogs
As I wrote before, don't use the app lichess.org, go to safari/chrome if you are using mobile, the quality is so much better. For mobile though, click community, then go click blog, and the rest is the same. Only if you are using the online version though.

Ok, bye! Please hear if you liked it! Hope you ;earned something, and have a great day!!
