Magnus Carlsen creates new all time Bullet rating record - 11th November 2021

Recently Magnus Carlsen had a peak rating of 3379 - an all-time Lichess bullet record!

• The Austrian Attack against the Pirc defence is very dangerous
• The early pawn sac is a common theme in many past master games - giving black that pawn resolve the uncertainty of White's center and avoids pieces becoming passive trying to hold on to center pawns. Sometimes better to let one drop :)
• The dreaded "thorn pawn" is such a dangerous type of pawn around the opponent's king. It enabled the tactical shot Bxe6
• The endgame was hopelessly passive for Black and black made things worse with Ne5 later dropping another pawn
