I discovered FICS at freechess.org and finally started playing online chess in 2009 and I was very happy and satisfied there. It was a dream site and the only site I thought, I would ever need. When I went to Chongqing, China for nine months in September 2015, I got an iphone instead of my Android due to the internet restrictions there. When I found no app on the playstore for FICS, I followed someone's suggestion and downloaded the Lichess app. I only used it to solve puzzles for several months because I wanted to have all my games on FICS where I continued playing from computers. However, I eventually made the switch and I have been enjoying this website for well over six years now. It is great to discover this blog here today. I'm going to blog about anything I want to write. It will be fun.
