The Birth of a New Bot

SURPRISINGLY EASY BOT SETUP

Creating a bot is surprisingly not too hard, and any old person can do it.

There are other posts about creating a bot, but to create it:

1. Create a new bot account
2. Finish upgrading your bot
3. Pick an engine or code it yourself

With this, I have created Dean_Summer_Bot. It currently uses HyperBot combined with Heroku to get it running for free most of the day, but there are a great variety of options. Its Heroku page is located here.

Despite all of its current drawbacks, Dean_Summer_Bot is about 2600 rated.

0+1 DRAW - ACC_FOREVER

ACC_Forever is a 2300 bot as directly seen on Lichess.

CONCLUSION

Of course, this is just the start of Dean_Summer_Bot. As of right now, it is pretty mundane as it's just using HyperBot. I can use random moves and disable rated games if I wanted to, but RandomMoverBot is strangely still working, even though it broke the Lichess TOS (probably because it's a resource for free rating).
