Hello, I am Pablo and this is what you will find on my blog
Chess enthusiast for the past 10 years, sharing my self-taught acquired knowledge. I aim to build a community that evolves with high-quality content, a unique perspective, and straightforward explanations.Warm greetings to the entire chess community. My name is Pablo, and I've been a chess enthusiast for a wonderful 10 years. Hailing from Spain, specifically the region of Andalusia, I have thoroughly enjoyed this captivating game of strategy, and my enthusiasm for it continues to grow each day. While I am an amateur without an official title, over time, I've gathered valuable knowledge that I now wish to share with all of you.
My first encounter with a chessboard was at the age of 15. It was my father who taught me the basic rules, opening a completely new door for me. Soon, I began attending the chess club at my school and forged meaningful friendships in that world. Always self-taught, I studied and continue to do so to enhance my understanding of strategies, tactics, openings, and other key aspects of the game.
A moment that filled me with pride was when, a couple of years ago, I coached a friend for 2 hours. Later, I learned that he had increased his ranking by 200 points, so something from what I shared must have worked!
Precisely these satisfactions of transferring my knowledge motivated me to start this blog. I observe a lack of quality material, well-explained and focused on genuinely aiding improvement. Superficial advice abounds on social media and the web. That's why here, you'll find a different and, above all, useful perspective to avoid frustration or stagnation.
My main objectives are:
- Guide chess enthusiasts of any level with quality content for their continuous growth.
- Build a community around this game, where we can share our experiences and reach more people.
- Demonstrate that an official title is not necessary to contribute value. Passion and love for chess drive this blog.
I will periodically post about openings, mid-game strategies, endgames, analyses of famous games, and topics suggested by you. Your comments and contributions are vital! Leave me your questions, and I will gladly address them in future posts or on a personalized basis.
You can also find me on Instagram, Discord or contact me through direct messages on Lichess. Welcome to my small but welcoming chess world! I hope you enjoy and benefit greatly from the material we'll be sharing together. A warm embrace!
