After your students started advancing, were their new students? I mean you said that the students had already become too strong and it was disheartening. But could there have been new beginning students who were starting from where the advanced students had started?
"painful sixth-round loss to FM Mathieu Ternault". You should annotate this game. Maybe you don't wanna, but I think it would be very interesting to see how chess psychology affects play and the thought process. It could be a cleansing experience.
A poignant blog. Thank you.
