Over the course of the last year, Chess, the ancient game of reflection and strategy, has gained new traction in a newer medium, the online world. Due to the lockdown last year which forced most of the world to move online; there has been an explosive growth of interest in chess, leading to the increased participation of a slew of newer and skilled participants, as well as the continued interest of more seasoned veterans.
