Joukkue on vuonna 2007 tai myöhemmin syntyneille. Joukkue pelaa Burjatian nuoria vastaan miettimisajalla 5 min + 2 sekuntia / siirto. Joukkueessa voi olla kymmenen pelaajaa ja heistä vähintään kolme tyttöä.
Ottelu alkaa lauantaina 9.1.2021 Suomen aikaa 09:15, avajaiset ovat klo 8:30 alkaen. Näin burjatialaisten toiveesta, heidän kellonsa on tuolloin jo iltapäivässä.
Ottelun ajaksi ovat burjatialaiset toivoneet Zoom-yhteyttä jokaiselle pelaajalle, jolla voi jakaa oman kuvansa muille. Tästä saatte lisätietoa myöhemmin otteluviikolla sekä linkin, jolla Zoomiin pääsee, viimeistään perjantaina.

Mikä ja missä on Burjatia: Venäjän federaatioon kuuluva tasavalta Aasiassa Itä-Siperian eteläosassa Baikaljärven itä- ja eteläpuolella. Pinta-ala on Suomen luokkaa, asukkaita on vajaa miljoona.

Burjatialaisten tekstiä ottelusta: "On January 9, 2021, at 15:00 a friendly match-tournament "Baikal-Saimaa" in chess will be held between the children's national teams of Ulan-Ude and Helsinki (10 people, 7 boys and 3 girls), the team captain - Khubukshanov Erdem (winner of the world championships and Russia). The match will be held on the site of the Buryat State University, in the "Boiling Point-BSU", with the participation of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the Republic of Buryatia.The tournament is organized by the Chess Federation of Buryatia and the Tunkinsky National Park.
The event is timed to the year of Baikal in 2021.
