Rupetta Academy, Abuja, Nigeria - Guinness World Record Attempt: 8 Hour Chess Marathon
Calling all Chess Players!

The Rupetta Academy, Abuja, Nigeria, is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon for number of games! We invite African chess players, particularly Nigerians, to join us for this historic event.

The Challenge:

Play chess continuously for 8 hours.
Participate in a minimum of 40 games to be eligible for prizes.
The Prizes (in Naira):

1st: ₦45,000

2nd: ₦36,000

3rd: ₦30,000

4th-6th: ₦21,000

7th-10th: ₦6,000

11th-20th: ₦3,000

21st-30th & 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, 100th: ₦6,000

31st-100th (excluding above): ₦1,500
