Zhu Jiner was born on November 16, 2002 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. Zhejiang is a famous place for Chinese chess talents, with Women's World Champions Zhu Chen and Xu Yuhua, and Ding Liren who will compete for the title of World Chess Champion, and Lu Shanglei, a member of the 2022 World Team Championship Champion team, and Ding Yixin, a member of the 2019 Women's World Team Championship team.

In October 2016, Zhu Jiner won the FIDE World Youth Championship in U14 category. In May 2019, she won the National Women's Individual Championship. In October 2019, she won the Zonal Tournament . In November 2021, she became the third place in the FIDE Women's Grand Swiss Tournament .

In 2020, Zhu Jiner became Women's Grandmaster (WGM). At the 2019 SCO Open and the 2021 Women's Grand Swiss Tournament, Zhu Jiner scored 2 GM norms.

Born on January 12, 1991, in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India, Harika obtained the silver medal in the 2000 World Youth Girl’s U10 Championships, with one more U12 silver medal 2001.

In 2003, she became the youngest Women's International Master (WIM) in Asia. In 2004, she became the youngest Women's Grandmaster (WGM) in Asia.

In 2006, she won the World Youth U18 category at 15 years old. In 2008, she won the World Girls Championship (U20).

In 2010, she won the Commonwealth Women's Championship. In 2011, she won the Asian Women's Individual Championship. In the same year, she became the second Indian woman ever and the 26th female player in chess history to covet the Grandmaster (GM) title.

In 2012, 2015 and 2017, she reached the semifinals of the Women's World Championship three times in a row.

In 2021, she was the runner-up of the FIDE Women's World Team Championship. In 2022, she was the third place in the Chess Olympiad.
