On the 21st of March the FC Bayern Munich is organising an international chess
team tournament for children.

Date and time:
• The tournament takes place on Sunday, the 21st of March at 10:00 CET

Platform and tournament format:
• The tournament will be played as a “team battle” on lichess.org

• The format is “lichess arena” with the following parameters
o Duration: 60 minutes
o Time control: 5 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move
o “Berserk”: not allowed
o “Arena streaks”: allowed

• The number of players per team is unlimited, however only the top 15 scores will count for the team result (this parameter will be reviewed closer to the date, once the teams have a clearer picture of their participants).

• The tournament chat is enabled in order to allow children to communicate. However, the chat will be closely monitored in order to avoid any unwanted misunderstandings.
