Berkshire Chess Association

The Berkshire Chess Association promotes chess for players of all levels of experience and strength in the area of the M4 corridor and the Thames Valley .
We organise five divisions (one open and four grading limited) catering for players of all strengths and ages
We organise two knockout competitions; the Premier Precision Cup (a handicap format, one round per match and six boards) and the Mick Tarrant Trophy a handicap format, one round per match and six boards)
We welcome newcomers and experienced players alike
We can provide advice and coaching for those keen to learn and improve
We play an active part in developing chess in the local area, establishing links with local schools and colleges
We actively encourage junior players and those getting started
