This is an Official DKKD tournament and therefore a Merit Tournament
• All Sections will be rated by CHESS SA
• Entries close at 17:00 on Thursday 16 September 2020
• Please make payments to: Dr Kenneth Kaunda Region, Absa Bank, Branch Code: 632005, Acc. No. 4057606390, Payment reference: C19_ID number of player / name and group. Please email POP, finances@dkkchess.co.za
• It is the responsibility of the player to ensure that he/she is entered into the correct section. The Organiser reserves the right to move a player to the appropriate section in accordance with the latest national rating; the player will be held liable for any additional portion of the entry fee which might arise due to the move between sections
• By entering the tournament, you unconditionally agree to all the rules and regulations of Dr Kenneth Kaunda Chess
• The Organiser has the right to move unrated players between sections at his/her own discretion and to combine or split sections to maintain the integrity of the tournament
• If a player entered the tournament but his/her name does not appear on the Players List please contact us at drkennethkaundachess@gmail.com.
• Only players with confirmed payments will be added to the draw as published on http://www.chess-results.com/
• Latest FIDE rules apply
• Prizes will only be presented to qualifying players after the results have been verified by the Arbiters and the Fair play committee.
• Any person found guilty of cheating will forfeit any prize money won and will be banned from participating in future events.
• The player/parent/guardian gives consent for the player’s name, surname, gender, race, date of birth to be submitted to the rating agencies for the purposes of rating the tournament and the rating agencies displaying it on their respective websites
