Lichess Crazyhouse Game of the Month August 2024

I liked many of my games but this is the most picturesque win I had in August (which is far from smooth):

A convincing win against a (much) more experienced and better rated opponent always makes you day, doesn't it.

I had an exciting 1+0 game in against profz (2551-rated player). The key move was 11. pawn at e7, which turned the game in my favor. Happy to win that one!

...and suddenly I saw a mate in 2

also mating with the last piece in your pocket (esp. a pawn!) feels kind of satisfying

This was a fun game (even though I lost :) purely because it went for so long! (123 moves).
Certainly not constantly great play by any means though! (We both missed executing certain winning sequences).
