Hey everyone!
We're ready to kick off the first round of the 2021 3+ World Championship.
Some basics:
For the normal bracket: You will have ~2 weeks to schedule and play your matches. Your matches will need to be completed by 16 UTC Sunday.
For losers bracket: You will have 1 week to schedule and play your matches. This is in order for it to stay ahead of the normal bracket, as well as to allow for schedule conflicts. Your matches will also be due by 16 UTC Sunday.
*If something happens such as a series of unavoidable schedule conflicts, these match due dates may be pushed back.
Since you have 2 weeks to play your matches (for the normal bracket), we expect you to find a match time and play your match. If you and your opponent haven't managed to schedule a match by the match due date, we will go straight to asking for screenshots of your DMs and proclaim the more proactive side the victor. If you somehow have constant work for all of the 2 weeks and have no time, we expect you to let us know in the first few days after the new pairings come out so we can figure something out.
Rules recap:
1. Be nice and respectful. We don't want to hear any complaints about bad behavior.
2. No cheating or sandbagging or anything stupid like that.
Pretty simple
Match stuff:
Best of 10, 3 + 2 time control, RATED (If you don't play rated, you *will* have to play again). You can either play the entire 10 game match, or play until someone has won (aka gotten 5.5 or more points), or concede the match.
