hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't know why this is happening. Maybe a lichess bug or something. but you already know how to checkmate. So why do you care about this ?

thats because you are playing bullet against it. Try playing rapid against it. And also if you want to play bullet play it against stockfish 1 and put this position.

almost every game between 1000 rated players on lichess is weird. No offense but thats how most 1000 rated players play.
