That has nothing to do with gambling on lichess. If people want to make up odds and pretend to bet imaginary points on players to win a tournament they are free to do so. Personally I would bet on that lovlas guy. I've heard he knows how to swing his knights around.

I don't see how that is either gambling or advertisment.

This isn't gambling because there's no real money involved. If anything, it curbs real life gambling because you can get that gambling fix online (at best). At worst, it's harmless.

Well, it seems I was duped. Went to the home page and nothing was said about "imaginary". I feel quite the idiot. (Note the post said nothing about "fun" wagering for points.) I hope others weren't so gullible.
