Bug - sometimes no sound and no game start warning

@Toadofsky, it seems like sometimes the sound fails to load. It happens approximately once in 40 games. Maybe a fix would be to separate the starting game sound from other in-game sounds (moves, checks, captures), and to make in-game sounds load 1-2 seconds later?
Because sound adjustment setting under our username still works, when all other sounds don't. So I assume it's because it's loaded separately or later.
@Chesstroll_Ingot
I got this bug 1-2 week before i posted this topic. Before that there was no problems with sound. And even when i had this sound bug on Lichess, i never noticed such bug with Youtube site.
@Toadofsky, if I'm not mistaken, it happened on LichessTV too (thought, I don't know if after every game it reloads the page completely, or just partially, because in games with every game there is a new link, and after reloading the page sound appears again). The problem is that it may not happen in a while, and then it may happen on some occasion. Also nothing appears in the console.
@Kishlak_Uruk, for me this problem has existed for a few years. Though, maybe, sometimes it disappeared for some periods and then appeared again, or maybe it existed constantly. Unfortunately, I don't remember. Now I was playing a lot against Stockfish, and haven't had this problem for some large amount of games. If I get this problem again, I will report it to this thread.
With YouTube there wasn't sound problems for me too.
I assume Lichess will need to change some things in advance of Chrome 60 anyway (or will forget to do so, and will do so in reaction to the release of Chrome 60) but it's quite possible @Chesstroll_Ingot 's suggestion might also be necessary on top of the other changes!
I'm not an active Chrome user except for testing. (For that matter, mostly Chromium, not Chrome proper, unless I need it.)

I'm on FireFox (52.7.3) most of the time, and, I have issues like this very intermittently. (Lack of re-direct to new game start from tournament, and/or latent sound or notification.)

This *mostly* has to do with other browser windows opening (background activity) ... and only ever when I have altogether too many windows or tabs open. (In other words: My problem; not a "bug" so to speak -- take my observations with a grain of salt.)

This may or may not be relevant to the Chrome issue(s), though doubtful; but, FWIW: Sometimes these issues strike irrespective of good connection or plenty of resources (or, browser).

I had a game the other day where I got a notification a second or two before time-out. When I clicked the "activate" notification, I got the ding, and I saw the tab re-loading from the main tournament window with a "you have a game in progress" bar at the top; just after the game loaded, I had 2 seconds to move and did not react fast enough to move before the game terminated.

In any case, this it's only twice in 3 months I've had this issue (maybe 3 times), so, it seems minor, and, in my experience, usually has to do with other things I have going on while I'm waiting for a game (either from the Lobby, or a Tournament).

FWIW. May not be here or there. May or may not be an issue. Anytime you deal in async communications protocols, such issues can arise (to be expected, not a big deal).
Has happened again, but the sound disappeared in the middle of the game. Then, after approximately 20-30 seconds after the game had finished, several sounds of moving pieces played in sequence. It hadn't been happening for about 3 or more hundreds of games till this one.
