Mercury Rising (1998)

Mercury is one of the heaviest metals.

I tried watching it some years ago, because of it's cult status... However I only got to about 10 minutes, before I dropped it.
It didn't catch my interest.

I thought you meant the Heavy Metal animated movie from the early 80s based on the comic book. I remember going to the school cinema club to watch this.

It has something to do with the Heavy Metal magazine, in Germany „Schwermetall“. Comics for adults. We don’t call the music that way^^
