Exciting but imperfect Marshall Attack against 2100+

Just some questions on Marshall gambit (I am actually not very well-versed in Marshall gambit theory):

1) When the opponent puts his bishop on e3, is it good or bad for me to take it with my knight on d5?

2) Is pushing f5, f4 by black a good idea or not in Marshall gambit?

Thanks!
Black usually plays 20...Bh3. The Marshall usually leads to exciting games.
Be3 is a move in the Marshall, and its usually not good to take the bishop as it'll solve a lot of White's problems as it can open up white's light squared bishop and gives more counterplay for white. I've addmitingly never seen an f4 f5 advance in the Marshall, and am not sure its a good idea
