I always wondered that players who get better in rating when there is less time to think would they be players that have below average chess intelligence?
It seems to me if you are above average in chess intelligence your chess rating gets better when you have more time to think.
I think players who play worse when the game is longer just might not be that smart so they are better off playing a faster game where players are thinking less.
Just a thought what do some of you think about that and are you better or worse if you play with more time?
