Hi, does anyone know what the depth of the "Request a computer analysis" report is? I couldn't find an exact answer to this question.
I believe the server analysis is limited by the number of nodes, instead of move depth. It's usually around 23-27 plys deep I think
It is most probably 60-80 plys
90 plys is required to get a forced mate in 36 which server analysis fails to find

@Whitedancingrockstar is right, it's limited by number of nodes. For analysis with NNUE Stockfish, it's 2250000 nodes (github.com/ornicar/lila/blob/9bc23ede2ed6530ba80e778bff2e9d53a7947f4a/conf/base.conf#L424), for classical Stockfish (used for variants) it's 1.8 times as much (because NNUE needs less nodes to be equally accurate), so 4050000.
Thanks, guys. Very insightful indeed.
Sorry for #3

@ProgramFOX
So, what is the longest forced mate Stockfish can find? ~ One day I saw a game where Stockfish found a forced mate in 56 moves.
Also, what can be maximum evaluation before it becomes a forced mate?

I don't know if it's even possible to theoretically calculate that; since the number of nodes is fixed, the depth of the search tree is dependent on how many branching there is, which is going to depend on the position.
If you are a master of chess like me you don't need Stockfish.
@ProgramFOX any idea how this node/depth limitation compares to say, chess.com's limitation? Or chess24 or any of the other servers?
