About ten months ago, I broke 2000+ rapid rating.
Here's the post I made then.
lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/how-i-gained-1700-rating-in-a-year-and-5-months#5
More than a thousand game later, I finally broke the 2100 barrier. I have to say, I am not as excited as I thought I would.
Similar to the last post I made, I will be highlighting what I have done since then.
Lol....nothing. I basically played games when I am stressed and hope for the best. I haven't even worked on my opening play in a long time.
What I noticed is that my queens gambit is now stronger for white and for black, I play solely Sicilian. I am very comfortable with the two openings. Used to play bernoni for black as at my last post.
Also, I realised my theoretical knowledge of opening is now very shallow. I used to know tons of theory. Forgotten most of it.
All in all, if I want to improve really well. I will have to start learning new stuffs.
Hopefully, I get around to doing just that.
Peace!
